What is Paleo?

It all started in the Palaeolithic era, something
 you probably haven’t heard much about. The Paleolithic era was a time in human history spanning from 3.3 million years ago to the end of the most recent Ice Age, roughly 12,000 years ago, when humans started farming. Paleolithic humans had a balanced diet of meats, fibrous vegetables, and high quality fats. But more than just the food they ate, they moved their bodies daily, hunting and gathering, and thriving for over three million years.

The Paleo Movement

Today we lead a different kind of life. We spend more time sitting than we do moving, we stare at screens of all sizes, and we’re highly stressed by the thousands of little frustrations of modern life. But it doesn’t have to be that way!   With our added knowledge and understanding, the paleo diet and cultural movement takes the knowledge and practice of our ancestors and applies it to our modern world.
